Email List Filter

Target Key Audience Members

Narrow Your List with Filters

Use an email list filter to further segment your email lists based on criteria you define and/or recipients’ past behavior. This allows you to target members of your list without using SQL queries or creating another list.

With JangoMail you can filter using two types of criteria.  The first way to filter is by using the information you have stored for each list member in the list’s fields. These are things like FirstName, LastName, Age, DOB, etc. The second way is to use the information stored in your JangoMail account about the list member’s past behavior, such as clicks and opens.

You may be wondering why use a filter, why not send your email message out to everyone on your list. The answer is that using an email list filter to target more specific list members increases the amount of interaction each message receives. Open and click rates are two important components of deliverability. Using an email list filter allows you to target your message to active list members who are most likely to find it interesting.
